Report: SAC Booth, S. and SA Booth, D. were called to the Whitley residence at 0245. CPD on scene. Hostile in residence, identified as Malachi Shea, of Shea Crime faction. Hostage reported, identified as Kathleen Nichele McMichael, (aka Katherine Nora Donnelly (Shea, see Case #185-NS-348A). Hostile demanded female negotiator, SA Neill was dispatched. In the interim, SA Booth, D. attempted to keep hostile engaged outside in the open. Hostile attacked SA Booth, D., at which point she fired one shot, center mass. SA Booth, D., applied pressure and attempted to keep the perpetrator alive until medics arrived but was unsuccessful. Fatality reported on scene by SA Booth, confirmed by the coroner.
