====== James Aubrey ====== * Profile * Gallery **Booth:** Coffee? \\ **Aubrey:** Not if we're still out of cinnamon. \\ **Booth:** We work for the FBI Aubrey, we don't put cinnamon in our coffee. \\ **Aubrey:** It's my favourite spice. Special Agent Lance Sweets brought Aubrey into Seeley Booth's circle of influence as someone he trusted. Someone for the Deputy Director to have track the Special Agent in Charge and keep him out of trouble after an incident where Seeley was framed for the murder of three black ops operatives posing as FBI Agents. Unfortunately, during the investigation, Sweets was involved in an assault that ended up in his death, but he managed to shoot the assailant, who managed to get away with critical evidence. Socks, they're like Social Security numbers and diapers. Should only have one owner. Between Booth, Aubrey, and Sweets' notes, they managed to cut out the tumour of conspiracy from the FBI. He was no replacement for Sweets, but he partnered with Booth over several cases, including one involving some interesting extracurricular activities from a radio host. Things that kindled a flame in James' mind. From time to time he would partner with Bones and other FBI agents, but considered his best work to be done with Booth. Look, there's something else that I've been thinking about. I want you to know that I'm not my father. He left his wife, he left me. You know, I would– I would never ever do that. What I'm saying is that when I commit to something, it's real. That I'm serious about it. It took a while for Aubrey to realise that what was stirring in his soul was the same thing Booth had found with his wife. He took the opportunity for Booth to show him around the club and perhaps introduce him to someone who might help him understand the scene and grow as a person. Someone who would give him the same as Booth. Something new and interesting. Little did he know who that someone would be.
